About Calen
I have over four years of experience teaching Chemistry, supported by an MChem that shaped my strong foundation in environmental and atmospheric science. I enjoy helping students understand how chemical reactions shape the air we breathe. Atmospheric chemistry is one of my main teaching areas, and I break down complex ideas into clear and simple explanations. I guide learners through smog formation and the chemical pathways that create harmful pollutants. Ozone depletion is another topic I explain with real-world examples and scientific clarity. Many students also come to me for help with acid rain and its impact on ecosystems. I make sure they understand how greenhouse gases work and why they influence climate patterns. My lessons are especially helpful for environmental science students who want a deeper grasp of air chemistry. I also support learners interested in climate policy and air quality management.
