About Leland

With prior years of experience teaching kids at lower levels of chess, I know the mindset that many beginners have and know the best ways to teach them fast and efficiently while still maintaining their interest. I will analyze your chess play and break down the complexities it has.

About the lesson

For a cheap price ill introduce all of the main concepts you must apply when starting off your chess journey, provide many detailed examples of games and opening examples, and break down and introduce more advanced concepts through live games and showcases. More importantly, I like to keep the lessons fun and enjoyable, because i believe that is the best way to learn anything.

Perfect! An excellent and truly dedicated tutor!
My teenage son is currently learning from him, and I’m very satisfied with the experience. He teaches with sincerity, using all of his knowledge in a fun and engaging way that's perfectly suited to the student's level. I also appreciate his punctuality and reliability. Since starting lessons with him, my son has become much more interested in chess.
