About Jehu
I’m a passionate chess player and tutor who enjoys helping people discover the beauty of chess and improve their skills with confidence. I’m currently rated 1839 in Rapid and 1741 in Blitz on Chess.com, reflecting my strong practical playing experience.
My teaching approach is simple, patient, and student-focused. Whether you’re completely new to chess or already know the basics, I break down concepts into easy-to-understand lessons and use real game situations to make learning practical and enjoyable.
I focus on building a strong foundation in tactics, strategy, opening principles, decision-making, and game analysis. Most importantly, I want my students to understand why a move is good.
I believe anyone can become a better chess player with the right guidance, consistent practice, and an enjoyable learning environment. My goal is to help you become more confident on the board while developing skills you can apply in every game.
