I teach all Management Accounting modules - both Cost and Financial Management (2nd and 3rd year level, CIMA).
I believe that there are essential elements that are conducive to learning.
(1) The teacher's role is to act as a mentor.
(2) Students must have access to simulated real-life scenarios.
(3) Students should be able to take responsibility and let their curiosity direct their learning.
(4) Students need the opportunity to practice skills in a safe environment.
(5) Technology is a perfect tool that can be used in teaching.
It is my desire to create this type of atmosphere where students can meet their full potential. A class situation where students are invited to share their ideas and take risks.
Regular feedback for instance through a mid-course evaluation of the class, in which they reflect on the course goals and provide feedback on whether or not the course is helping them meet these goals thus far.
I believe we never stop learning, and I want my students to know we can learn from each other.

Perfect! I would like to say a huge thank you to Suz. She is an outstanding tutor! Suz is very knowledgeable and taught me study skills as well as exam technique. I really enjoyed the tuition sessions with her and I ended up doing very well in my CIMA Operational level exams and will definitely be continuing with her next year. I cannot rate Suz highly enough!

I have been using Suz now for a couple of months while studying for a Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA). She is competent and fully qualified.
Personally I struggle in a class situation. Suz helps me by setting study goals for me, explaining sections in the material I do not understand, prepping me for the exam and giving one-on-one classes on topics I struggle with.
