About Laura

I have experience giving support classes to primary school students, I have taught French classes to 4th year ESO students, I have also taught study techniques and classes to 5 year old students to learn to read and write through didactic activities. I have done a volunteer work with the Citywise association giving reinforcement classes of all subjects to sixth grade students. To make the student feel more motivated, we carried out a follow-up where the student and I wrote down what we had done in each class and set new goals for the next, which included improvements in certain behaviors. For example, that the student feels more sure of himself trying to solve only certain activities before class. On the other hand, we also included what we were going to study in the next class. I like that my students have a good time while they learn, so I look for resources, activities and even educational games so that they get motivated and become more interested in the subject. I try to make them able to reason for themselves by teaching them to make diagrams, concept maps, mnemonics and techniques that help understanding and study. I am a Marketing and Market Research student, where we have subjects in mathematics, statistics and economics. I have worked as an aupair (nanny) in France, which has helped me to have a good level of French. I am a kind and responsible person who knows how to adapt to the needs of each student. I have official primary and secondary education books as complementary material, as well as my own educational games. I have no problem getting around and I can adapt to the schedule. About the lesson

My way of working will depend on the needs of each student trying to make the classes as interactive as possible. I have didactic games and books for primary and secondary school that can serve as reinforcement. When I finish a class, I like to discuss the next class with the student so that he can prepare and that we both establish what we want to learn and how we are going to do it. I let the student participate and I am concerned that they are satisfied and happy with their learning.
