I'm in my second year studying Classics at St Andrews, and have been studying Latin and Greek for over 10 years now, with A*s at GCSE (394/400 UMS for Latin and 398/400 UMS for Greek) and As at A level.

I am available to tutor all ages/abilities up to undergrad-level Latin and Greek, including total beginners.
Latin and Greek are seen as some of the most challenging subjects to take at GCSE and A level, and so exams can be doubly intimidating. In our classes we will bust this myth, and discover just how satisfying and engaging these ancient languages can be!
Through one-on-one tutoring, I can tailor my teaching to help each student progress at a comfortable, but engaging pace.
After assessing your specific areas for improvement on the language side (syntax, accidence, vocab) I'll help you to fill in any gaps in your knowledge, using memory tools that will last you through your exams and beyond, as they have for me.
On the literature side we will focus on essay writing technique, textual analysis, and commentary, and I am happy to proofread/give feedback on any essays you write for class, coursework, or uni applications.
