About Spencer
Hello! My name is Spencer and I'm a Freshman at University of Michigan studying Business Admin. I am an extroverted, empathetic, engaged human. I love to explore the world and challenge myself to learn anything (the splits, origami, physical fitness, language, hiking, etc). In High School, I ran some of the biggest clubs (Interact, over 150+ members, Unicef, 30+ members, NHS, 12 members) because I love meeting and learning about new people.

I focus on two elements when tutoring peers, friends, and family: confidence and independence. In my 12 years of education, I have realized that those who struggle in classes are not inherently weak or "bad" at the subject but they lack these two fundamentals. It is my goal to build confidence and independence in a student when I teach them. That way I help them not only with the subject at hand, but my lessons transcend into other subjects.
