About Jahzel
My name is Jahzel and I am very excited to meet you! I am a college student studying education, and I have always had a passion for reading and writing! I have worked as a tutor for a few years now and I really enjoy it. Currently I also work as a homework helper at the YMCA and have tons of childcare experience from infants all the way up to about 8th grade.

In my experience, a lot of children dislike English because they don't enjoy reading. I hope to help my students find at least one thing that they might like about English during my sessions! I teach effectively by identifying the child's weakest points and giving them the tools in order to be confident. This ultimately causes higher scores on tests and assignments. My lessons are completely catered to the student, so we will make a plan for the rest of our sessions together in the first visit to make sure we are a good fit! I am willing to help any student desiring help with reading or writing skills up to 8th grade!

I recent hired Jahzel to help my younger brother who has been struggling with his elementary reading homework. I have work with my younger brother multiple times however, he still was not able to understand the concepts.
