About Alan

Prior to starting my computer science degree at UWA in 2021, I had no experience with coding. Three years later, with the help of my tutors, I not only graduated, but also gained the urge to share my knowledge with more people.

About the lesson

I believe strongly in the 'learn as you go' (LAGO) approach. This means instead of being overloaded with information from the get go, students will gain a better understanding of critical skills by exploring techniques to solve real world problems. I will also provide the skills necessary to become a self proficient learner.

Coding is an incredible asset for anyone aged 9 to 90. No matter where you are at, learning to code is a rewarding and engaging activity. I aim to bring my enthusiasm of the discipline to my lessons.
