About Leon
I am a computer science student in my first year of my degree. I took maths, further maths, physics and computer science at A-Level, and I have been doing maths tutoring on and off for the last four years. I have helped my students achieve grades 2-3 levels higher than what they were working at previously (from level 6 - 8, C - A for example), with my most successful students achieving levels A/A*/8 at GCSE.

I tend to give tutoring to GCSE students, however occasionally I have also tutored for A-Level maths. My approach to teaching is first to find out a students strong and weak points, either from them informing me or them doing a mini-test in order for me to work out their abilities. I will then come up with problem sets for different topics to work through with the student until they have understood that particular topic, then proceed in setting relevant homework or tasks in order for them to maintain their knew knowledge. My goal is to inspire passion for the subject into my students.

I am Leon’s mother and have seen and heard him tutoring for many years. Leon is passionate about tutoring, understands his subject and is very good at explaining. I fully recommend him as a tutor.
Leon helped me with my maths GCSE, I have had other tutors in the past and none of them aided me like Leon has. He gives excellent advice and his knowledge is superb, furthermore he is funny and makes learning a lot better. I could not recommend a tutor more trustworthy than Leon!
I was taught by Leon back in 2020 when it was my GCSE year. He was an excellent tutor who pulled me out from failing my Maths GCSE and in-fact boosted me to a B. He is a patient yet driven tutor who knows what you need to do to make yourself do better. Overall, I would certainly recommend him.
