Hi, I'm a Conservatory-trained piano teacher (actively performing, MTAC member) with more than 25 years of tutoring experience.

My mother taught me to read notes when I was 7. I had piano lessons for two years in junior high. The rest of my life, I have loved playing piano, but I lacked the technique and discipline to produce really pretty music. When I met Gus and heard the beautiful colors he produced on the piano, I was so grateful for the opportunity to get some training from him. He has showed me how to develop phrasing, accuracy and dynamics to make the music I produce so much more worth listening to. But the most important thing he has done for me is show me and push me to practice correctly. The steps he taught me helped me get more out of my practice and get the music in my hands that really sounds like music. I have been able to memorize more music than I ever did before. I am playing better than I ever thought I could, and loving it! Thank you, Gus

Gus Zdanovich has been my piano teacher for about three years. He is a talented pianist and teacher who is most knowledgeable in classical and contemporary music. His love of music and passion for playing the piano is obvious.
It is sometimes difficult for me to practice as often as I should and also, one could say, I am musically challenged. To help with this, Gus offers different techniques or suggestions and always spends extra time with me on all of my lessons. I am enjoying learning how to play the piano. His knowledge, patience and personable disposition have made it easy to take piano lessons from him. Thanks to Gus, I am learning about music and piano.

I started taking piano lessons as an adult and was very fortunate to find Gus Zdandovich, an amazing piano teacher. Gus is both a talented pianist and talented teacher who always expresses a deep love for music. He teaches the lessons with understanding and passion. After the first few lessons, I found this to be a very important trait that motivated me to incorporate more piano practice into my daily routine. As a result, I felt successful and accomplished.

He has a great attitude and has been very patient in teaching me how to play the piano. Gus pays close attention to detail. He is able to detect and diagnose my technical problems and gives explicit instruction on how to practice in a caring and gentle manner. Teaching me HOW to practice has played a big part in helping me move forward in my piano studies.

Gus is a gifted teacher and I wholeheartedly recommend him without any hesitation.
