About Perla
Grammar foundations are secondary to immediate verbal output. I spent 3 years helping students make real sense of ESL through structured, exam-focused sessions. My BA in Education from Pennsylvania State University informs my approach of teaching concepts first to ensure clarity.
Students gain skills in idioms and expressions, listening comprehension, and academic writing. I also emphasize pronunciation and accent, conversational fluency, everyday conversation, and phrasal verbs. It is fulfilling to witness students make steady progress during our first eight weeks together.

Fluency arrives faster when you stop trying to speak perfect sentences from the start. Learners improve through weekly conversation recordings that we review together to identify exact areas for improvement.
Since my background includes a BA Education from Pennsylvania State University, I provide a rigorous framework for IELTS preparation that targets specific exam criteria. My eight-step teaching approach helps you build confidence through continuous feedback and timely corrections.
We move through technical linguistic barriers by applying logic rather than rote memorization. This direct method remains the primary way I guide individuals toward reaching their 9.0 goal without unnecessary repetition. Tracking your progression ensures that we maintain a clear focus on the specific targets required for your success.
