About Thalia
I am a theatre and law student based in Galway. I have been crocheting for over two years and have been drawing and painting my entire life. I achieved a full honour in Art in my secondary level exams and have done private lessons in both crochet and painting before.

My teaching method is by going with what students would like to learn. I believe learning a craft just for the purpose of learning it can be boring but doing things that you like and can actively engage with make learning a much more fun experience. Learning doesn’t feel like learning when you like what you’re doing. I go by what students want to make and give them the tools to get there. Patience is key and just because someone might not get it first time doesn’t mean they should give up. I try different methods based on different students needs.
