I have an English BA with Hons from UCL and a Poetic Practice MA from Royal Holloway. I have tutored English, Creative Writing, Essay Writing, and Proofreading for a variety of levels and abilities, from KS1 to postgraduate.
I believe anyone can learn to write well and it’s really helpful to
I offer:
-Editing pieces of poetry or creative prose, or essays. You can submit pieces to me in advance and we can have feedback sessions. I can also give you techniques for getting over writer’s block and editing your own work.
-Workshopping. This can be specific guidance and advice to develop ideas, writing exercises and prompts, lessons on language, imagery, and structure, and contextualising your work for a reader.
-Proofreading for school assignments, dissertations, cover letters, and more, with feedback sessions.
