About Zachary

Hello! I'm Zack, the friendly neighborhood tutor. I'm tired of learning being so hard. I've had very few teachers that I can say have honestly taught me well and that is a huge problem. I'm here to help you understand and to have fun learning.

Currently I'm a server with Red Lobster, and so you get a sense of my personality type just know that a party of 6 came in the other day and asked for the "most upbeat, energetic and funniest server," and they gave that party to me.

I love to joke around, I love to have fun, and I want you to enjoy math, the way I do.

I'm pretty hard core with math too. Before every exam I've taken for Calculus and Differential Equations, I'll study for literally 12 hours straight. And for those classes I have yet to get less than 95% on those exams. A couple of those were 100%.
But I'm here so you don't have to study for 12 hours straight.

Sometimes it feels impossible to understand. I still feel like that's the case sometimes. I still struggle, I'm in some tough classes, but to some people they're easy. It's not impossible, you just need help understanding sometimes, just like me.

About the lesson

I'm not going to leave you in the dust, you're not dumb, you just might not have heard the words that make certain concepts click in your brain. I wasn't good with math, I could barely subtract, but certain things said a certain way helped it all click.

I will share with you 'how, why, and what.' I wont do the work for you, I'll do it along with you, I'll push you in the right direction, and you'll learn how to complete the problems you stare at for hours. Whatever you're struggling with I will make my own problems for us to go through, except they'll be tailored to you.

You wont learn if I show you how to do it. You need to do it, you need to do the work, you need to do the calculations. I will help you through ever step, but when we get through the whole problem you will be able to say that you're the one who did it.

My lessons are for anyone struggling with Math, from 1st grade to Seniors in highschool. I can also help college students but just keep in mind I'm still in college and still learning too.
