About Cait
I have loved teaching for the past three years, and while I am currently working towards my PhD in English, I am also gaining experience in lecturing at University level. I am passionate about English and Creative Writing, and want to be able to create a space for students to expand their knowledge and explore the depths of their creativity.

I have been working as a private tutor for the last three years. I specialise in teaching English at all levels, but I have also been teaching Maths (Year 1 - GCSE Level) since 2021.
My experience ranges from Year 1 students to adult learners who want to improve their language skills in English. I am also a Qualified TEFL tutor as of 2021. I also have experience with teaching students with learning difficulties such as Dyslexia. I will focus these lessons on the individual's needs, as every student's learning style is unique to them. One of my main aims with my English lessons is to encourage reading for pleasure, so while I still adhere to the UK Curriculums, I want to ensure that we focus on texts that the student will enjoy. This way, I hope that the student can get the most out of our lessons.
My lessons are usually 50 minutes in length, but this is open to discussion as I am more than happy to cater to the individual's needs.
