About Liam
I am a dedicated and passionate student in organic chemistry. My research focuses around organic synthesis and metal catalysts. At Columbia University during summer of 2024 my research project covered the molecular mechanisms behind cardiac complications that are associated with COVID-19. I will begin my research at CU Boulder in the summer of 2025. My research has been presented in the CU Boulder CURE symposium and the Columbia University Pathways Programs summer symposium, and is soon to be published in a scientific journal. I have received Bs or higher in all of my advanced organic chemistry, biochemistry, and molecular biology lectures, and am working towards an honors thesis.

I have a deep passion for scientific education, and helping the next big scientific minds understand and navigate complex topics in chemistry, organic chemistry, and biochemistry. I will not only focus on learning material but, understanding said material on a fundamental level. Students of mine in the past have seen great improvement in their grades and have developed critical thinking skills to continue studying science at a higher level.
