About the lesson

I have two years of experience teaching data science as an internal trainer at a banking institution in the United Kingdom. During these coaching sessions, there are two types of training formats. One type involves me acting as the lead trainer for classes of around 20 individuals. In these classes, we follow a structured curriculum designed to teach trainees how to manage and address common scenarios they might encounter. The curriculum covers how to utilise data science tools such as Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, and other relevant technologies to solve business problems that are particularly financial in nature. However, some topics also focus on issues not exclusively related to finance; instead, they emphasise skills such as data cleaning and data wrangling that can be applied across various industries. Throughout the courses, we adhere to a clear curriculum that is recognised by other banking institutions in the United Kingdom for upskilling and empowering individuals in their use of data science tools. Additionally, I conduct one-to-one internal training sessions at the bank where I assist individuals with specific challenges they face while working on products or help them gain a deeper understanding of data science tools through personalised guidance.
