About Vela
I have over four years of tutoring experience and a BA in Physics. My main interest is helping students explore condensed matter physics. I teach crystal structures and explain how arrangement affects properties. Band theory becomes easier with guided illustrations. Students see how technology depends on these ideas. I also teach superconductivity and relate it to modern advances. Semiconductors are introduced through simple explanations. I make the study of solids and liquids understandable from their basic principles. Some concepts take time, so I move patiently. Others allow quick learning.
