About Kahina
With more than 13 years of experience as a Piano tutor, I have taught students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced learners. I believe piano learning should be clear, structured, and enjoyable, allowing students to develop both skill and confidence.
My teaching philosophy focuses on strong fundamentals, consistent practice, and encouragement. I teach proper hand technique, finger coordination, rhythm, sight reading, and basic music theory while also encouraging creativity and expression. I explain lessons in simple English, break complex concepts into manageable steps, and provide practical exercises to make learning effective and fun.
I customise lessons according to each student’s age, goals, and learning style. For younger students, lessons are interactive and fun, while for adults and professionals, lessons are focused, goal-oriented, and flexible. Many of my students have performed successfully in concerts, cleared music exams, and developed a lifelong love for piano. Teaching piano and witnessing students’ growth is my greatest achievement.

My teaching methodology emphasises compassion, supportiveness, and open communication. I believe that learning is most effective when students feel safe, encouraged, and motivated. In piano lessons, I combine technical exercises with creative exploration, helping students build skill, confidence, and a love for music.
I tailor lessons to each student’s abilities and interests, break down complex concepts into simple steps, and provide demonstrations for clarity. Constructive feedback and positive reinforcement guide students through challenges and celebrate achievements, keeping motivation high.
I also teach other relevant subjects using the same adaptable and interactive methods. My goal is to help students grow academically and creatively, develop self-confidence, and enjoy a lifelong journey of learning.
