About Lana
I'm hugely passionate about everything to do with technology. I began learning to code/program at 6 years old and over the past 15 years, I have established myself in the IT industry as a well-regarded IT and Cyber Security expert - backed up by the relevant accreditations. I'd love to pass my passion and vast knowledge and experience of IT and technology onto others who are studying for their GCSEs or A-Levels in Computer Science or Computing. I'm extremely patient with students and am keen to work at your pace, supporting you wherever I can and building confidence in your learning as we go.

Free first lesson so we can understand what areas you're looking for tutoring in, and get to know each other to see if we're a good fit. Lessons are 50 minutes long, and will be tailored specifically to what you need. I will follow up within 10 minutes after the lesson with a summary and helpful tips from what was covered in the lesson. My background: I have a BSc in Applied Computing and Mathematics, and also hold advanced Cyber Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM and CCISO. With 15 years experience in IT up to senior management level (including hiring for a variety of roles), I can also help with tutoring those who have achieved GCSE/A-Level certifications in computing and are now looking to enter the IT profession and provide guidance around CV tailoring, certifications, interview technique etc.
