About Mahnaz
I am an undergraduate student studying dentistry and have many years of teaching English online. My lessons are for KS2 and KS3 students In my tutoring sessions, I employ an interactive and student-centred approach to engage learners actively. My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel confident in expressing themselves in English. I tailor my teaching methods based on individual needs and learning styles to ensure each student's progress and success. I use a combination of the following techniques: Reading and analysis: Encouraging students to read various literary texts and analysing their themes, motifs, and literary devices to deepen their understanding. Discussions and debates: Engaging students in lively discussions and debates on literary topics, which helps improve their critical thinking and communication skills. Writing practice: Providing writing prompts and guiding students through the writing process to enhance their composition and analytical skills. Language exercises: Incorporating grammar, vocabulary, and language exercises to strengthen students' language proficiency. Multimedia resources: Utilising audio and video resources to expose students to different accents, dialects, and cultural contexts of English. Each tutoring session typically lasts for 60 minutes and can be longer. This duration allows us to cover essential topics comprehensively while maintaining the students' focus and attention throughout the lesson.
