About Bean

I started ballet at my home studio in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Quickly I started traveling Denver, Chicago, and Salt Lake City to receive professional training. At the age of eleven, I intensively trained with a former principal of the Paris Oprea Ballet. I have danced professionally with San Diego Ballet, Huntsville Ballet, Russian Ballet Orlando, and more. I have performed lead roles in countless ballets, and trained with teachers from all of the major companies around the world. I have been coached in and preformed extremely classical ballets to neoclassical and everything in-between. My whole life while I mainly focused on ballet I trained and performed in pieces that were competition jazz, classic jazz, musical theater, tap, hip hop, modern, and contemporary.

About the lesson

I can address the concerns of the individual student. Every student needs to work on different aspects of ballet or another style of dance. If a student wants to work on their jazz, contemporary, ballet, or pointe work I can help! Some students really need to focuse on their port de bras, their turns, or a million other things, I am qualified to help with it all. Through all of my experiences in the dance world, I can help students get the tools that one needs to thrive in the professional environment. If a student is getting ready for a competition or a show I can clean their piece. I also can choreograph a new piece in variety of styles. I have taught students from one year old to adults in their 60s. I really can teach all levels and all ages.
