About Julieta
I am an experienced Latin and Ancient Greek tutor, dedicated to helping students understand and enjoy these classical languages. I combine theory and practice, explaining grammar and syntax in a simple, understandable way, and reinforcing learning through exercises, sentence building, and vocabulary work. I create a supportive and professional learning environment, where questions are encouraged and progress is visible. My background in classical studies allows me to connect language with culture, history, and literature, giving students a deeper understanding of the texts they read. I adapt my classes to all levels, ensuring that each student can progress at their own pace while building confidence and skill.

I focus on helping students truly understand Latin and Ancient Greek by combining theory and practice, not only memory. My lessons include short explanations of grammar and syntax (for example, theory of noun and verb stems) followed by practical exercises, such as analyzing individual words or building sentences, to apply what we’ve just studied.
Each class begins with a brief review, then we move into the day’s topic: a grammar point, declension, or syntactic structure. After that, we practice through short sentences, vocabulary work, or simple translations to reinforce comprehension. Depending on the level, we may also read adapted or original texts to connect form with meaning.
I value clarity, structure, and encouragement. I adapt my explanations to each student’s pace and background, creating a learning space that feels both accessible and motivating.
I teach high school and university students, as well as adult learners who want to start their study of Latin and Ancient Greek. Lessons are customized for all levels.
