About Hannah
I am a third year Contemporary Performance Practices student studying at a leading London conservatoire, the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. I have a years' experience teaching drama and English in a London secondary school, as well as workshop assistance for the National Youth Theatre, the Old Vic and Harrogate Youth Theatre. I have worked with ages 11-adult, including SEN young people. As well as being a native English Speaker, I have an A in English Literature A-Level, and an A* in GCSE English Language and Literature.

I am a strong advocate for specialised tutoring based on pupils' personal interests and needs. I base my teaching off a Freirean methodology which meets the student at their existing knowledge level and builds on that zone of development rather than assuming I hold all the knowledge as the tutor. I also aim to prioritise kindness, empathy and positive behaviour reinforcement in my teaching as I believe students learn best when they feel respected and motivated to achieve their goals.
