About Marc

I studied 2D animation, primarily as a Storyboard Artist, 2D Animator, and Composer, in addition to my ongoing interest in project production management.

My lifelong goal has been to create my own universe, and alongside my studies, I opened a small 2D animation studio where, as the author of my universe and art director, I built, trained, and led my own team. As part of a pre-production project, I created a datapack for the 10-episode series, which was presented at the Cannes and Annecy festivals.

In addition, I launched several manga and webtoon projects, including a complete season of the webtoon, which I self-published as a manhwa. The manga is still ongoing.

While extremely versatile, I maintain a strong focus on creating worlds and all their elements (worldbuilding), which I have developed over the past four years. My ability to imagine and conceptualize world-building elements (whether it's characters, locations, levels, their atmosphere and mechanics), and then make them work within the story (the narrative), is undoubtedly my strength.

I'm very attentive to your needs and will adapt to your objectives, regardless of the medium (digital or traditional).
Depending on your skill level and goals, I'll also discuss the market and strategies to avoid mistakes in the future and/or current projects.

I'll guide you through what I consider the best methods to help you improve without stress, using classic techniques (basic work, character design, volume, etc.) as well as more modern ones (because good drawing requires asking the right questions: what medium, what target audience, what style, etc.).

In short, if you want to learn how to create your own manga, webtoons, or even animation, or improve your portfolio, I'll share all the tips I've learned over the last 10 years.

Hello and welcome!

A graduate in Illustration, Graphic Design, and 2D Animation, specializing in world-building, Manga, and Webtoons, I offer private lessons tailored to each student's level, goals, and style.

Lessons are suitable for:
• beginners wanting to discover drawing
• manga and webtoon enthusiasts

• creators wishing to develop a personal project
• or simply anyone wanting to draw as a hobby.

The goal is to learn the fundamentals while developing creativity, visual storytelling, and a unique world.

MANGA / WEBTOON
• How to build a suitable script
• How to publish on Webtoon platforms + what to prepare beforehand
• Character and overall stylization, different depending on Manga/Webtoon
• Learning proportions, techniques for speed, software, etc.
• Expressions and emotions
• Visual storytelling
• Panel composition, storyboard, thumbnail techniques
• Page layout according to formats
• Digital coloring and different techniques (+ help with brushes)
• Publishing on different Webtoon platforms + social networks

Mostly in person for introductory sessions and support, and remotely via Discord/Teams for more advanced work. I will be working with Photoshop. Required equipment: computer + Wacom tablet + stylus + drawing software (Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint is best, or similar). If using traditional methods, the Wacom tablet is not necessary.

2D ANIMATION

Courses are primarily online via Discord/Teams. I work with ToonBoom Harmony. Materials needed: computer + Wacom tablet + stylus + animation software (Harmony ToonBoom, TVPaint, or similar)

CLASSICAL DRAWING
• Introduction to drawing for children and teenagers
• Anatomy and proportions
• Sketching and observation
• Perspective
• Working with light and volume
• Observational drawing outdoors or in museums.

In-person classes only (at my home or outdoors depending on the exercises). Travel possible under certain conditions. Materials needed: A3 art book for indoors. Elastic-bound drawing board – Exacompta for outdoor work. Other items to be discussed before the class based on individual needs.
