About Lakshay

I am a first year B tech student at Delhi Technological University. In my childhood when i was first introduced to chess i was maybe 12 or 13, i found the game interesting but, was not too fond of it. It was only when a friend of mine at school challenged me to game of chess. It was our computer period and he crushed me in every match we played that day, and i remember thinking to myself “next time way play i wanna crush him”, and as weird it may sound, this was the reason i first began learning chess.

Whenever i look back at this incident of my friend defeating me and me wanting to get back at him and thus starting to play chess I genuinely believe it was one of the best things that happened to me in my childhood.
Chess has not only helped me in my studies improving my concentration and my focus, but, more importantly it has taught me a lot about how to live life trying hard every day, trying to find the best move in every situation no matter how lost things may seem and unleashing your inner power.

About the lesson

My goal of teaching is always that my student finds the right moves and can recognize patterns easily and naturally.
My way of teaching depends from student to student and one thing is always the same that you will learn something new in every session.
I always make sure that I understand the playing style of my student by analysing their games and making sure that the common mistakes occur less often.
As one begins to realise what improving at chess really means, they’ll naturally begin to understand and appreciate my way of teaching and thus automatically and effectively be able to use this knowledge in unlimited ways to become a better chess player.
