About Zac
Hi I’m Zac! I’m an undergraduate at Durham University who has all ‘9’ grades at GCSE and A*A*A*A grades at IB at KCS Wimbledon. I believe that a winning essay in both English Language and Literature can be broken down into its component parts, and thus refined!

For the first lesson, I provide an exam-specific assessment to gauge the student’s language and literature skills, and where the area of focus should be. Given my own experience at GCSE, 11+ and A Level, I can then create tailored exam-style questions to strengthen those areas of focus and prepare the student for their exams.

Tonnes of help! Very patient and found innovative ways to help me understand concepts. Would highly recommend.
I have met Zac in Uni as we share the same course. He has always been helpful and responsive in group activities. And he is super patient! Trust me, you would love to have Zac as your tutor.
Zac is kind and patient, perfect skills for a tutor to have! Not only is he talented at Latin, but he really loves it too, and will encourage students to find an enthusiasm for the subject.
Dear Sir or Madam,
It is my great pleasure to write to you in support of Zac Arney’s application for employment. I have known Zac, first as his subject teacher, and then as his tutor, for over seven years. Throughout this time, Zac has struck me as an incredibly bright, diligent, industrious and mature young man. He has a quiet resolve and a fierce determination to succeed. This is never at the expense of others; he is a true team player and a wonderful friend to his peers. He has always had a strong friendship group, thanks to his warm and amiable personality.
Zac is an exceptional sportsman. He was the First XI goalkeeper at every age group throughout his time at King’s, and a keen cricketer too, playing at a high level during his KCS career. He was a brilliant House Prefect too, performing his duties with care, thoughtfulness and a great sense of responsibility. Zac is a talented musician too and a brilliant drummer in particular. He has played in many House Music competitions and public concerts over the years. The school runs so well thanks to young people like Zac, and he has offered so much to King’s over the years.
Zac is an incredibly intelligent and hard working young man. I was delighted when he was offered a place to read Archaeology at Durham. He embraced the demands of the IB Diploma Programme, and he quickly earned a reputation in the classroom as a witty and resourceful student. Especially keen on History, his ability to gather high quality research and argue a case with real strength, would suggest that a legal career may attract him in the future.
Zac is an outstanding young man, respected by his peers and his teachers equally. He has a true sense of service and is kind, affable and always focused on the task in hand. He was involved in every area of school life during his time at King’s, and I am sure that he will be a real asset for any future employer. I have no hesitation in recommending him to you and would be happy to answer any further questions that you have about him.
Yours sincerely,
James BroderickView more recommendations
