About Aimee

With 8 years of experience in ESL tutoring, I have had the opportunity to teach High School and College students from different backgrounds. I have guided around 150–200 students in their English learning journey, helping them grow both academically and personally.

My teaching philosophy is based on motivation, clarity, and practice. I believe that students learn best when they are encouraged and actively involved in lessons. That is why I focus on interactive teaching methods such as discussions, role plays, and real-life situations. This helps students understand how to use English in their daily lives.

I also believe that every student learns at their own pace. I make sure my lessons are flexible and customised to match each student’s level and goals. Whether a student wants to improve grammar, speaking, writing, or exam preparation, I provide clear guidance and support.

One of my key achievements is helping students gain confidence in speaking English. Many of my students who were once shy are now able to communicate clearly and confidently. I also take pride in helping students achieve better results in their exams.

I am a patient and positive tutor who always encourages students to do their best. My goal is to make learning English simple, enjoyable, and effective for every student.

About the lesson

My teaching approach for ESL integrates Accountability, Integrity, Flexibility, Communication, and Positivity to provide a structured, motivating, and results-oriented learning experience. I begin by assessing each student’s proficiency and learning objectives, then develop personalised lessons with achievable milestones.

Accountability ensures consistent progress through structured practice, assignments, and performance evaluations. Integrity guarantees honest, transparent, and constructive guidance to support growth. Flexibility allows me to adapt lesson content, pacing, and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning styles and academic needs.

Communication-centred instruction, including speaking exercises, listening comprehension, vocabulary building, and writing tasks, strengthens practical English skills. Positivity fosters confidence, perseverance, and motivation. In addition to ESL, I teach related subjects requiring strong English proficiency.
