About Jahzel
My name is Jahzel and I am very excited to be a tutor! I am a college student studying education, and I have always had a passion for reading and writing! I have worked at a Primrose school, so I am used to lesson planning and working with children. I've also been a camp counselor at the health museum and currently work with kids at LOBO gymnastics and afterschool program. I hope you will consider me to be the right fit for your needs!

In my experience, a lot of children dislike English because they don't enjoy reading. I hope to help my students find at least one thing that they might be good at during my sessions! My teaching methods include identifying the child's weakest points and giving them the tools in order to be confident, and ultimately causing high scores on tests and assignments. My lessons are completely catered to the student, so we will make a plan for the rest of our sessions together in the first visit to make sure we are a good fit! I am willing to help any student desiring help with reading or writing skills up to 8th grade!

I recent hired Jahzel to help my younger brother who has been struggling with his elementary reading homework. I have work with my younger brother multiple times however, he still was not able to understand the concepts. After hiring Jahzel, I have seen constant and stead improvement with his understanding of the subject.
