About Leticia

I am an educator and researcher with over four years of experience in teaching, research, and project development. Currently pursuing a Master of Education at Thompson Rivers University, my research focuses on preserving indigenous knowledge within education. I work as a Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant, conducting research, data analysis, and student support. With a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education from Kenyatta University and a BC Teacher’s Certification, I am committed to advancing knowledge in education through research and academic engagement. My master's project specifically explores strategies for documenting and integrating indigenous knowledge into modern educational systems.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach aligns with your expertise in education, research, and instructional support. I use interactive and student-centered learning, adapting to different styles like you do in tutoring sessions. My responses are research-driven, ensuring accuracy and clarity, much like your role as a Research Assistant. I emphasize practical applications, creating structured learning materials similar to your instructional development work. I provide constructive feedback, guiding learners in areas like academic writing, as you do in APA guest lectures. Lastly, I prioritize inclusivity, fostering a supportive environment, reflecting your experience in early childhood education and working with diverse cultural backgrounds.
