About Henrietta

With over 11 years of teaching and professional experience, I have dedicated myself to guiding students on the enchanting journey of learning the flute.

My teaching spans school to college students, and I strongly believe that music is not just an art, but a language that helps express emotions, build confidence, and develop discipline.

My journey began with a deep love for music, and over the years, I have had the privilege of mentoring students who have achieved notable success in competitions and performances at school, college, and local music festivals. Each student I teach is unique, and I focus on creating lessons tailored to their strengths, pace, and goals.

I combine practical techniques with a creative approach to help students enjoy every moment of learning. I emphasise practice, perseverance, and understanding the nuances of music, making complex concepts simple and engaging. Beyond technique, I inspire students to explore their musical creativity and perform confidently.

I have seen beginners evolve into skilled performers and advanced students reach new heights. My proudest moments are when my students perform with joy and confidence, knowing they have grown under my guidance.

Teaching is more than a profession for me—it is my passion, and I am committed to nurturing the next generation of musicians with patience, encouragement, and dedication.

About the lesson

I teach flute with a focus on making learning enjoyable and effective for every student. My teaching is built on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity.

I believe that motivated students achieve more, so I encourage them with positive feedback and set achievable goals.

Communication is key in my lessons—I listen to students’ needs and adjust lessons to match their pace and interests. Integrity guides my teaching style, ensuring honesty, discipline, and respect for every student.

Creativity plays a major role in my classes; I introduce new exercises, improvisation, and musical games to help students explore their own style. Besides flute, I can teach related subjects like music theory, basic rhythm, and ear training, which strengthen overall musical understanding.

My lessons are designed for school, college, and adult learners, focusing on building confidence, improving technique, and nurturing a love for music. I also provide real-life examples from performances and recordings to make concepts easier to understand.

Every student is unique, so I design personalised practice plans and encourage self-expression through music. My ultimate goal is to make students independent performers who can enjoy playing and create music with joy.
