About Carol
I am an elementary/middle school teacher who has be teaching over 30 years. The last 10 years has been spent teaching middle school math and science. I have had experience teaching the lower grades (1 to 4) also. I enjoy teaching and enjoy helping students succeed.

My teaching method is to show examples and work through examples together with my students. I have also helped students with learning to read using phonics and sight words. After being able to read the words, I have helped students learn how to comprehend what they are reading. Much of my teaching revolves around "practice makes perfect." In reading, math, science, or an other other subject, the more a student practices the material, the better he/she gets with understanding and mastering the material.
