As a tutor, my approach blends interactive techniques with personalized instruction tailored to each student's needs. I believe in fostering engagement through active participation, discussions, and practical applications of sociological concepts.

Techniques and Teaching Methodology:
1. Interactive Learning: I encourage dialogue and debate, creating an environment where students feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and opinions.
2. Real-World Examples: I incorporate real-life examples and case studies to illustrate abstract concepts, making them relatable and easier to grasp.
3. Multimedia Resources: Utilizing various multimedia resources such as videos, infographics, and interactive online tools to cater to different learning styles.
4. **Hands-On Activities**: Engaging students in hands-on activities, group projects, and simulations to deepen their understanding and critical thinking skills.
5. **Progressive Feedback**: Providing constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve continuously.

Typical Length of a Lesson:
The typical length of a lesson can vary based on the complexity of the topic and the needs of the student. However, I typically structure sessions to be around 60 to 90 minutes long, allowing enough time for in-depth discussion, activities, and reflection without overwhelming the student. Additionally, I'm flexible and adapt the length based on the individual student's attention span and learning pace.

I am a Philosophy graduate with a first class, and currently pursuing MSc in Sociology from the University of Bristol and a Teaching Assistant at the ZEN Educate.
