About Wren
Hi, I'm Wren! I hold a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry Education (B.S.) from Emory University in Atlanta — a top-twenty US research university with an outstanding chemistry and biochemistry program closely connected to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention right on its doorstep. That proximity to real-world science shaped my deeply career-connected approach to chemistry education. I have 6 years teaching chemistry from middle school through college freshman year through online one-on-one sessions. My "future career chemistry" method transforms unmotivated chemistry students into genuinely engaged ones because suddenly the subject connects directly to their personal ambitions and future goals. I have helped many students earn AP scores of 4 or 5. I was honored with the Chemistry Career Connection Award by the Georgia Science Teachers Association for my uniquely career-anchored approach to chemistry instruction.
