About Rafe

With 11 years of ESL teaching experience, I have worked closely with High School and College students, successfully teaching around 150–200 learners. My teaching philosophy focuses on clarity, consistency, and student confidence. I believe that learning English should be simple and meaningful, so I design my lessons to include practical examples and real-life communication.

I create a positive and motivating environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and practising without fear. I also customise my lessons to match each student’s strengths and areas for improvement. Through regular practice and feedback, I help students build strong language skills step by step.

One of my key achievements is helping students improve their fluency and perform better in exams and presentations. I am passionate about teaching and dedicated to making learning effective and enjoyable.

About the lesson

My ESL teaching methodology is built on creativity, critical thinking, mentorship, and accountability. I believe that learning English should be both enjoyable and practical. I use creative teaching techniques such as storytelling, role-play, real-life conversations, and interactive discussions to help students understand and use the language naturally.

I focus on developing critical thinking skills by encouraging students to ask questions, share opinions, and explain their ideas clearly. This helps them gain confidence and improve their communication abilities. Students learn how to use English effectively in both academic and real-life situations.

As a mentor, I guide my students with patience and care. I take time to understand their goals, strengths, and challenges, and I adapt my teaching methods to suit their needs. I create a supportive and friendly environment where students feel comfortable learning.

Accountability is an important part of my teaching. I set clear goals, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback. I encourage students to stay consistent and take responsibility for their learning.

In addition to ESL, I also teach related subjects, helping students improve their overall academic skills. My goal is to build confident, fluent, and independent learners.
