About GuoQuan
I am an mechanical engineer. I have 4+ years experience tutoring and in-classroom teaching experience for middle school and high school students with average class size ranging from 1-on-1 to 20 students. Former MIT Inventeam coach for the Lowell Public School. I also have experience working with elementary school age students. I have a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, and is currently pursuing a MBA.

My teaching method is focused on developing a student's understanding of the basic governing principles on the math or physics problem and teach students tips and short cuts to problem solving when the student has mastered fundamentals. I like to use real life examples to help students understand the fundamentals of the problem on hand, as well as use various tools such as technology and physical samples to assist in the lesson.
