I recently graduated from Occidental College with a BA in English and Philosophy, where I focused on postmodern literature and Greek philosophy. I tutored college students for two years in essay writing in both subjects. I read extensively and am familiar with all major areas of literature and am proficient at essay writing and developing writing fundamentals for students.

I don't believe in lecturing or telling you what to do. It just doesn't work for something like an essay. I help you find and develop your own voice to that can elucidate ideas present within texts. This is an invaluable skill you will use throughout high school, college, and the professional world. I do this through a Socratic method in a personal, relaxed setting. I can help you find the right questions to ask so you can answer them well.
