About Molly
I am native to Charleston, South Carolina and attended the College of Charleston. I have a double major in English and Secondary education, so I am certified to teach grades 7-12. For the past year, I have been teaching full time at a local high school, while in my off-time from teaching, tutoring students who are medically homebound. I have taught English at the college preparatory and honors level, as well as Speech and Debate. Grammar is a personal favorite subject of mine, as well as Rhetoric and literacy. My experience with my students in the past, as well as my experience with tutoring homebound and medically disabled children have allowed me to gain prior experience with tutoring from a remote location.

My two passions are everything English, and sharing that passion with my students. English can be a really challenging subject for many students, but my lessons are fun and engaging— breaking the stereotype that English is boring! My lessons are geared toward thinking outside the box and project based learning. In other words, together we will be using creativity and previous knowledge, as well as current events and “real world” problem solving to develop your skills in English.
