About Tobiah
My name is Tobi, and I am a graduate-level English Literature and Publishing student. I hold a bachelor's degree in English and Creative Writing and have roughly three years of tutoring writing at the university level. I have helped students achieve confidence in their personal and academic writing, while learning English-based analysis skills. I hope to help students of all learning levels achieve their goals. As a tutor, I approach learning with an energetic spirit! I connect best with other through humor, and do my best to make studying fun and interesting.

As a tutor, my lessons are geared toward self-confidence, independence, and creativity. My students will achieve skill-based goals (such as grammar, reading comprehension, rhetorical analysis) while improving their writing. Typical lesson plans can be based on the student's curriculum or serve as practice for upcoming SAT, ACT, AP, or college-level exams. Lessons are for middle school, high school, or bachelor-seeking degree students. On a typical day, students of all levels can expect to practice reading aloud, writing theses and arguments, and text-based analysis.
