About Emma

I take a logical and structured approach to tutoring, helping students develop the confidence and critical thinking skills needed to reach their full potential. By guiding students in creating tailored and effective revision resources, I ensure they are well-prepared to approach exams with clarity and confidence. * University of Birmingham: BA in English (2022), specialising in Shakespeare. During the summer of my graduation, I also worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
* A Levels: English (A*), History (A), EPQ (A), Music (A)
* GCSEs: 11 A-A*, 1 B
* DBS Checked  with over 1000 hours of experience teaching a diverse range of students, I have a proven track record of success across different levels and abilities.

* Interactive Sessions: Notion enables real-time annotation sharing, fostering seamless collaboration during virtual lessons and enhancing engagement in all aspects of the learning process.

Personalised Learning Approach:  Every student is unique, and I tailor my lessons to meet your child’s specific needs. Homework and Revision Support:  To reinforce concepts and encourage consistent progress, I provide structured homework assignments and accessible support between sessions - students are welcome to get in touch anytime for feedback or support with homework etc. Additionally, I guide students through effective revision techniques, ensuring they are well-prepared for exams and assessments.

From the start Emma came across as very knowledgable, extremely well organised and knew all the texts that my daughter had studied. My daughter seemed very relaxed and had a good relationship with Emma and felt very comfortable in the lessons. Emma was great at providing feedback to me along the way.

In just a short space of time Caitlin's confidence had grown immensely and the final exam grade was 2 marks short of 9.
