About Gabs
I have been tutoring and teaching for 5 years. I have home-schooled a family with three children, all different ages and in a variety of subjects which include English, Maths, Geography, History and Science. Now that the kids are in school. I have been tutoring them on and off when helping with exam preparation and assignments. I have also tutored many children and helped them prepare for school entrance exams.
I instil confidence in my students and help them believe that they have the power to achieve their academic goals.
I have an undergraduate degree from UCT in Psychology.

I like to make my students feel comfortable and I encourage them no matter how proficient they are in the subject we are learning. I exclusively teach in English. I tailor my lessons depending on the individual I am teaching. I have had experience teaching both special needs children and those who are very proficient in a course. I am very compassionate and understanding when it comes to learning as I empathise with how tricky school can be for kids. Therefore, I aim to make my lessons enjoyable and for my students to look forward to them.
