About Barna
Hi! I'm Barna, a 21 year-old university student, studying political science and humanities.
I grew up in Budapest and graduated from high school (advanced level in English, history and maths), and since then I have been studying in English. I spent my first two years at Sciences Po, a renowned French university, and currently I'm stuying law as my exchange year at the University of Glasgow.
In addition to my upper-level high school diploma in English, I have also passed the IELTS and TOEFL language exams, so I am happy to share my experiences and tips for preparing for them.
Related to my field of expertise, the topics of our class discussions will include English music, films, literature, current news, world events, and other cultural recommendations.

Our classes will be held online. The course of the lessons depends on what you are preparing for, but in my case, the focus is always on the acquisition and development of basic skills (speaking, listening and writing). I welcome anyone from beginner to advanced level.
Since I have been living and studying in an English-speaking environment for years , I can give a good foundation from everyday to official English. Depending on your level, we deal with grammar rules, discuss topics and enrich the lesson with all kinds of visual and audio material.
I am flexible about the time of the classes, so I am happy to teach classes even in the afternoon/evening or on weekends. I reserve our first class for getting to know each other, so naturally I won't charge you for it.
