About Sophia
I'm an MLitt student at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. I specialize in Romantic & Victorian literature and am familiar with many of the classic novels taught in schools, colleges, and undergraduate university classes. My BA was finished in 2019 with High Honours and I'm able to tutor those writing university entrance essays for the first time.

I approach literature by teaching close reading skills and historic contexts. At a university level you'll be expected to read past symbolism, so I help to improve research skills and broaden the student's understanding of the novel's core themes and how those themes relate to the time and circumstances under which it was written.
