About Scarlett
I am a third year undergraduate English Student at Durham University.
I have taught poetry workshops with junior school children for five years, and I have been tutoring 1-to-1 for four years.
I have worked with junior school children up to GCSE students and I enjoy engaging all ages with the subject. I am able to help students with essay writing and coursework, as well as teaching the syllabus for GCSE (AQA and Edexcel IGCSE).
I have experience with AQA and Edexcel syllabuses at GCSE and A-Level.

Lessons can be as flexible as students need: I am able to supplement teaching, work on essays for class and coursework, provide help for speaking assessments and help students with their personal statements for University.
I like to give students the opportunity to work on their skills such as essay writing and comprehension during lessons, with live feedback to help them improve.
For younger students, I employ various methods of learning, from recall to creative skills and fun activities to keep them enthused about the subject.
