About Meg
Throughout my school life, I was always keen to help my peers. I have a clear way of communicating- I will make sure that you get the most out of our lessons as you can. Being a young person, I believe I can connect more to students and hopefully you will feel more comfortable with someone who is more of a peer than a teacher. As an older sister I am also patient and understanding, and I won't rush your learning. I aim to not only help expand your English skills but ypur confidence as well, by providing gentle guidance that allows you to reach your own conclusions and form a real understanding of the subject.

As a young person myself who has only recently left Sixth Form with a H6 in Ib English Lit & Lang, I have a strong grasp on what examiners are looking for, as well as a high level of English in general. This means I can help both KS2 prepare for SATs, and KS3 prepare for GCSEs. I take on a casual approach to teaching that is more relaxed than schooling but still structured enough to feel useful and worthwhile. Typical lesson times would be ~1 hour. I have work experience at a secondary school and am very familiar with the English curriculum, so I can help support and guide younger students with building basic English skills as well as providing more focused and detailed instructions to KS3 students that wish to achieve the best GCSE grades they can.
