About Liv
I first started tutoring as an A-Level student, offering extra support to GCSE students in English and History. Since then, I have worked for local tutoring agencies and now work in a school as a librarian and tutor. Teaching just seems to be following me around now! If that is the case, it is because teaching comes naturally to me as any knowledge or skills I have learnt as a student, I want to pass on. Each time you move into a new area of learning, say GCSE or A-Level, you encounter new challenges. If I can share my tips and tricks to rise to those challenges and make your learning journey smoother and more confident, then I will have done my job.

I offer a personalised approach to lessons that utilise the learning styles of the student in order to develop skills in essay writing, text analyses and communication. Lessons can range from 25 minutes to an hour, depending on the level and need of the student. I have experience tutoring a range of ages and students and work in a mentoring capacity with students one-to-one as part of my term time role as a librarian and tutor in an independent girls' boarding school.
