About Ryan

With over 8 years of agency experience, I have helped 100s of students achieve the grades they need.

My approach to tutoring is to tailor it to what works for you. For tutoring to be worthwhile, it needs to offer something different from school. It's important to me that the sessions aren't just another hour of school so we'll cover basically whatever you want and figure it out in a way that works for you.

About the lesson

I have been an agency tutor for over 8 years and have worked with 100s of students of all age groups. I have also previously worked for a major exam board.

My approach is centered around collaboration. The only way tutoring can make a difference is by offering something that school doesn't. All my sessions will be a conversation and we will figure things out together. There won't be any silent working because you have enough of that already! I want to help you figure out what works for you rather than trying the same things again and again.

I also know that students need support outside of session time. I am always available to give feedback on work for my students or answer questions they might have about the course. Feedback will be provided on essays within 3 days and questions will be answered within 24 hours.

Lessons are either an hour or two hours long. For 2 hour sessions, I allow for a 15 minute break between each hour.

My preference is to tutor GCSE students, but I also work with students of all age groups.
