About Louisa
My name is Louisa and I am thrilled to be your English literature teacher. Growing up with a diverse background, including both Sicilian and Nigerian heritage, has allowed me to appreciate the richness of different cultures and perspectives. This, coupled with my lifelong love for reading and exploring history, has fueled my passion for English literature. I believe that literature has the power to reveal the universal human experience and foster empathy and understanding. It is my goal to share this passion with you, as well as equip you with the necessary skills to excel academically and beyond.

I firmly believe that private tutoring in English literature is a highly effective way to enhance one's understanding and appreciation of the subject. With my personal approach, I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment that caters to the unique needs and goals of each student. By tailoring my teaching methods to their individual learning styles, I am able to foster a deeper understanding of literary concepts and develop critical thinking skills. In addition, I am dedicated to providing personalized feedback and guidance to help students improve their writing skills and analytical abilities. Through in-depth discussions and close reading of texts, I aim to instill a love for literature and inspire students to explore diverse perspectives within the field. My ultimate goal is to empower students with the tools they need to succeed academically and develop a lifelong passion for English literature.
