About Katrina
I am an English Literature student at Lancaster University going into my third year. Alongside my passion for literature I also enjoy performing and music. I have tutored students locally in English and Maths in the past of varying age groups. I achieved 3 As at A Level and am currently working at a high 2:1 at university.

I try to make my lessons as fun and engaging as possible, as I want to be a teacher in the future and bring excitement to education. I would likely use the first lesson with a student to gauge what areas need the most focus, then plan future lessons around these areas to help the student best. For example, if essay writing was a problem, I would use the lesson to focus on this, whilst also having something a bit more engaging, like a literary text, alongside.
